Like so many micro-baking stories, From Skratch began by accident and with a pinch of passion.
In 2023, a friend asked Kristen to make a birthday cake. Not long after, her landlord asked for a batch of cookies for his son’s baptism. From there, the batches got bigger, the orders kept coming, and a sweet little dream began to rise.
What started as a few thoughtful favors quickly grew into farmers markets, cookie workshops, and custom orders made with care. Today, Kristen bakes her custom sugar cookies from her residential kitchen, creating beautiful treats for birthdays, baptisms, holidays, showers, weddings, and everyday celebrations.
Behind From Skratch is a mom and her mixer: a homeschooling mother of four beautiful children, part of a family rooted deeply in their community in Danvers, MA, sharing joy one cookie at a time.

Flour, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, and a pinch of salt, simple, familiar ingredients that come together to create something truly special.

From Skratch uses classic food dyes, the same kind you remember, to bring each cookie to life with vibrant, eye-catching color.

Every batch is made fresh from scratch, no premade doughs, no fillers. Each cookie is rolled, cut, and crafted by hand with care.
